After a full day of driving and about 17 variations of "When will we get there?", we arrived at the Grand Canyon. And was it ever grand! As we were walking toward the South Rim, there was a die-hard mountaineering family in front of us. They each had a backpack on that looked straight from REI with some sort of water source. Scott says, "We don't have backpacks
or water." To which I replied, "I'm not here for some mountain trek, I'm here to see the big hole." The kids chuckled while relieved that we weren't
that family. They were ready to get to Nana & Grandpa's house.
Love my big ol' zoom lens.
One happy family comfortable with staying behind the guardrails.
Our first view of the canyon was incredibly breathtaking. I was in awe that God would take the time to give us such an amazing sight to see. He is so creative!
*I took a ton of pictures, but lucky for you the Internet here is taking forever.
